Doll (Critter) house

Cousins Lou, Davida, Chloe, and Noah came over and Chloe gave me her Critter house.
I call it a doll house.
My parents have to brush my hair, clean my face, feed me etc in front of the Critter house.

Hey Nandini, look at these cuddles!

Not only do I like to cuddle but I like to announce it to people when I do.
(sorry no pictures at this time)

Got shades?

In preparation for our upcoming vacation to Florida, Mama got me some new Supergirl sunglasses! They definitely look best on me, but Mama looks pretty good in them too. Check us out!

Sweet then semi-sour

I was so happy today because my former teacher, Gloria, came to the preschool this afternoon. Also, her son Santiago. He's my friend. I gave them and Sandra big hugs when I left. Dad told me we were going to the museum, so I told them "I'm going to the museum!"

We got in the car and drove to the train. I said "I'm so excited." We watched the train come and got on. We sat on the seats and held onto the bars. We got off at the museum, and it was fun. We saw some statues and paintings and chairs, and beds. Then we got a book and went home on the train. The conducter let us on even though we didn't have enough money on our pass.

We played in the park with John, Sun Young, and Faith and other dogs and we saw Michelle and JJ, and played in the playground.
Then I told dad I wanted chocolate for dinner. That did not go over well. We engaged in a debate over the matter. Dad won. I cried but then ate a turkey meatball, cucumber, tomato, carrots and banana.

I tried to put up a fight going to bed too. Dad apologized when he pulled my hair by mistake, and I said, "I'm sorry, dad" when I hit my head against his by mistake.

Using my strong rhetorical skills, I convinced dad to read two stories, and then sing some songs.

I refused to brush my teeth. Dad told my my teeth would not be clean and that I would have to brush every morning and evening going forward. I am not yet convinced.

sour then sweet

After a rough start to the evening where dad carried me crying out of the pre-school (not the school, that's for toddlers.) we patched things up, ate dinner and had a peaceful transition to bedtime. I smiled at dad, patted him on the chest, and lay on his chest. Then I went into bed, dad sang some songs, and I said "I'm going to say "Te amo." When he left the room, I said "Te amo, dad."

Olivia and Trixie - kindred spirits

For those of you looking for a good read, in the realm of literature my current favorites are:
- Olivia Saves the Circus - especially when she's Queen of the Trampoline
- Olivia Starts a Band - especially the part when she puts on lipstick
- Knuffle Bunny Too (A Case of Mistaken Identity) - I like to join Trixie in shouting, "That is NOT my bunny!"

Even when I'm a little bit sick, I'm pretty happy

Had a bad cold last week. But that didn't stop me from relishing a good round of jumping from the coffee table to the couch.
